Pilot Remake?
Sarah Connor Chronicles Pre-Show Info July 25th, 2007According to Star Online eCentral, Fox is having the pilot, or at least part of it, remade. They’re remaking the Sarah Connor Chronicles Pilot because of a scene or scence involving violence and/or shooting in a school building. They’re remaking this pilot because of the potential similarities to the Virginia Tech Shootings. The scene was originally when John Connor was attacked in a school building.

That sucks. Downloaded and saw the pilot and that actually seems like a very important scene. One thing that seems to be a key factor in the plot is that the public is seemingly becomming more and more aware of the presence of terminators(Try to guess how the assasin got his weapon into the classroom). I wonder how they are going to pull off the change without screwing up the first episode. That may make for a very disappointing first airing because It seems like as the story unfolds, there are going to be alot more people crying “metalhead” other than just John and Sarah Connor alone, and thats one of the more promising aspects of the series especially since the focus has changed from the defensiv to the offensive.

The school this show was filmed in is Highland High School in Albuquerque, NM. I know this because my son goes there and I had to deal with maneuvering around vehicles and trailers and everything necessary to film movies, etc. My son and I have loved seeing all the clips on your site. We get a kick out of naming the parts of the school shown. So far we have identified the main entrance, baseball field, gym, weight room, several classrooms, and much more. Several movies, tee vee shows, etc. have been filmed at Highland by the way. This is by far the most looked forward to! We are hoping this show improves the students attitude towards the school. In October 2007 a well liked student was murdered and the school spirit has diminished greatly and several students have lost their pride and love of Highland.

Ella, that’s very cool having parts filmed at the school. It sounds like fun to be able to recognize certain places. I’m very sorry to hear about the student that was killed.
