American Idol
Posted by admin on January 23rd, 2008Once again, American Idol has returned as the nation’s most popular TV series, though there are about 4 million viewers less this year than last. When the 1st episode of the show aired a few weeks ago, it had over 33 million viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research. The show american idol is one of the most popular of all time because it gives the little guy a shot at true success. While there is only one American Idol winner each year, oftentimes the top three can also get recording contracts, while still providing those who don’t make it to the top with a memorable experience.

While it’s always fun to see some of the worst singers in America, I think we’ve had enough of that in the past couple weeks. I’m personally looking forward to hearing some real music very soon. There is some real talent out there in America, and it’s ready to get discovered. The next episode from American Idol will air February 5th and will feature auditions from Atlanta, Georgia. American Idol has a very loyal following; for those of you who watch Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, do you watch American Idol as well?
